About Dr. Vanderloop
Dr. David G. Vanderloop, a native of Kaukauna, WI, always envisioned beginning a new practice that would bring the latest technology and treatments in optometry to the area. Graduating in 2004 from The New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, Dr. Vanderloop’s formal training included external clinical rotations with several specialty facilities across the country. He received advanced contact lens training from the New England Eye Institute – Boston, MA and Richlin Eye Associates – Beverly Hills, CA. Additional ocular disease training from the Eye Foundation of Utah (Glaucoma) – Salt Lake City, UT and the VA Medical Center (Cataracts/Macular Degeneration) – White River Junction, VT were also part of his education. Because of a great opportunity that surfaced while in school, he was also able to complete a special elective course in diabetic retinopathy at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, MA.
Dr. Vanderloop currently resides in Kaukauna with his wife Elizabeth and their daughters Clare, Norah, and Ellie. As a family, they enjoy camping and hiking during the warm months, listening to music, cooking dinner, and spending time with family and friends. You might see Dr. Vanderloop out for a run or on his bike several mornings a week. He also enjoys playing a few notes on his trumpet in the evening. Elizabeth enjoys singing with her daughters, spending time in the garden, and going for walks.
Together they have pledged their efforts to building life-long relationships with the patients of Clear Approach Optomtry, S.C. by providing them with the best of preventative care, while offering a number of personalized services in the area of ophthalmic lenses, disease management, and contact lens fittings.
