Orthokeratology

Orthokeratology is a vision correction option for mild to moderate myopia. This program corrects myopia through the use of a contact lens worn at night. The lens is removed in the morning and the user will enjoy corrected vision throughout the day.

Multifocal Contact Lenses

For those patients in need of a different lens power each for near vision and their distance vision, more options than ever are now available in several different lens materials. Even if you have astigmatism, you have choices to correct your vision with contact lenses.

Custom Contact Lenses

Through the use of corneal mapping and new contact lens designs, Dr. Vanderloop has worked with several companies to create vision solutions for those that thought contact lenses were never an option. These are contact lenses completely personalized for the patient.

Gas Permeable (GP) Contact Lenses

GP’s are custom designed by your optometrist and the lens manufacturer for each individual and is a fast growing alternative to soft lenses. GP lenses are made from a durable, high oxygen permeable polymer that resist deposits and are less likely to harbor bacteria than soft contact lenses. These lenses are easy to clean, do not dehydrate, and because they maintain shape while on the eye, often provide crisper vision than soft lenses.

Soft Contact Lenses

These lenses are the classic and common option that has served people well over many years by providing a great way to correct vision. With new multifocal options and 1 day throw away options, more and more people are able to wear soft contact lenses than ever before.
